On Friday night, the fashion was heating up at the Belfast Fashion Week High street heaven show which was held at the very cool Life Church in Belfast.
This was my first time attending BFW and I was excited to see what it was like, I have followed along on social media in previous years however I wanted to see what it was like in person especially from a male perspective since the show would feature menswear from DV8 and REMUS UOMO
For an event like Fashion week there definitely pressure on what to wear so I though keep it simple with a shirt and suede jacket.
I attended the event with
my mum who styled her look from TopShop. To top it of she was not only style spotted once but twice, first she was interviewed and photographed for the Belfast Telegraph style section and secondly by Melissa Riddell, Cool FM presenter and WCCFW Style Insider who gave her a west coast cooler bag full of goodies including real technique brush, KARAJA makeup and lots of other goodies
I really enjoyed the show, all the looks featured were very wearable and perfect for spring/ summer. The menswear featured was kept simple with clean cut tailored looks, sunshine ready outfits, and patterns which screamed summer
How nice is this Orange Superdry coat, perfect for a rainy spring
This 11-degree tracksuit is very cool, not sure I’d be brave enough to wear it all together?
Nice casual look from DV8
The running theme throughout all of the womenswear was stripes and classic styles with modern twists, the section of the show which stood out was the looks from Narah and co ( https://www.narahandco.com/collections/dresses ) which had looks my mum loved
I had such a fantastic night and have to thank everyone at WEST COAST COOLER FASHION WEEK for having me it was such a fantastic event. I can’t wait to attend the next!!
