My Car History

tgavyy

Hey Guys!

I want to start including a bit more car stuff on my Blog, everything from car-related product reviews to checking out the newest models and designs since they are such a big part of my life, but before I can do this I think it’s only fair I talk about my own personal cars.

So, anyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am with MINI’s and from no age I have always wanted my own!

After passing my test  I started out with an R53 MINI COOPER S finished in dark grey, I had the black 17″ s spokes, blacked out rear lights and black mirror caps and roof which I think was a really good look. It was a really big spec and had full heated black/blue leather as well as the panoramic sunroof, but I soon realised the crazy expensive running costs of a supercharged mini so after 2 years of fun I had to sell it!

Next I bought a black R50 Mini Cooper with JCW Kit, this was also really great spec’d MINI with the half leather sports seats, panoramic sunroof and 3 spoke steering wheel but I missed the dark silver far too much and all black just didn’t compare so rather than spending a lot of money making it how I would like I sold it and went on the hunt for a new car.

Months after looking for the perfect MINI and I found it. A limited edition MINI COOPER D Graphite in the dark grey with a black roof, when I got the car I wanted to make it a bit more sporty so changed front bumper, grill, and bonnet to the COOPER S shaped ones which made a huge difference, I then added the matching rear bumper and twin exhausts giving it a complete COOPER S look which was completed with a set of 17″ crown spokes and a rooster red leather dash to give the interior some colour, I am so happy with how it turned out and will hopefully keep it for much longer than the rest!

Thanks for reading!
