Hey Guys! I hope you are all well, I’m finally back with another blog post. It feels like a lifetime since I last sat down to write!

Today I want to show you the amazing new SPÄNST range from IKEA, it has been created in collaboration with Chris Stamp, LA-based fashion designer and owner of ‘avant-street’ lifestyle brand, Stampd. The 32-piece limited-edition collection includes a variety of pieces that appeal to an ‘urban youth’ generation. Everyone knows by now my love for IKEA and this collection is right up my street with a black, white and grey colour palette and pieces designed for young fashion and interior lovers.  It is aimed at helping those who take pride in their clothes and footwear and allows them to show them off in the home.  (basically me lol)

The designers took inspiration from concrete, nature and organic shapes, and as a result, the range reflects an industrial street style, including statement storage pieces, as well as new unexpected items – such as IKEA’s first ever skateboard, basketball and net. LA-based fashion designer, Chris Stamp founded his company, Stampd, in 2011. Stampd is known for its meticulous attention to details and designs that embody modern youth culture with high quality and minimalistic aesthetics, which can also be seen through Chris’ collaboration with IKEA, I especially like the clothing.

I was super kindly gifted some of the collection including these shipping container inspired shoe storage boxes which come with stickers to customise them to your style as well as 2 of the clear acrylic ones perfect for any shoe collector!

Throughout the collection there is a barcode inspired print which is actually a photo of a piece of marble that Chris photographed in Paris as well as this a number of pieces have digits stamped across them, at first I thought this was just random numbers to fit in with the barcode theme but the numbers are actually the longitude and latitude of the first IKEA store and the first STAMPD store!
