Brooklyn Sq Belfast- Food Review

*This post contains a gifted experience*

My blog is the place where I talk about things I love and eating out is right up there with my favourites, I’m sure I’m not the only one who loves trying new places not only for the food but the cool surrounding (and Instagram opportunities lol).

Brooklyn-Sq

Last week in was invited along to try out Brooklyn Sq Belfast which is located in Shaftesbury square and hard to miss with the huge red neon sign lighting up the whole street, its the perfect location for catch ups or pre-night out meals being located so close to the nearby nightlife and Universities. Inside you will find an amazing variety of American Italian foods in a cool diner style restaurant.

I was invited to try their new student deal which means if you bring your student card along you get 10% off your main course, I have been asked to review my experience and I really couldn’t fault it, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the menu was a never-ending list of variety of stateside burgers and ribs to authentic pizzas and pasta and I left completely stuffed.

My friend Edel and I started with the SHARING PLATTER FOR 2 which had Chicken wings, chicken strips, nachos, BBQ ribs and cheesy garlic bread Served with Sweet chilli, garlic mayo and BBQ. It was Delicious and could have easily done as a main! If you go I would definitely suggest you start with this!

For my main course, I opted for the PLAIN JANE CHICKEN which had Southern Fried chicken strips, salad, coleslaw, tobacco onions, garlic bread & BBQ sauce.  I’m a plain eater and sometimes get stuck with boring food but Brooklyn Sq had so many options for me, I couldn’t even finish the main course, the portions are HUGE I’m telling you this is the spot for hungry students!

As if I needed any more food we had to try the dessert menu,  we ordered the WARM CHOCOLATE BROWNIE STACK with Fresh cream, vanilla ice-cream and Chocolate sauce which tasted as good as it looks.

Oh and last but definitely not least THE MILKSHAKES, OMG these were amazing, not only were they the nicest looking milkshakes ever they also tasted it, Ive been dreaming of one since! When we finished we sat on to enjoy the atmosphere and let the food sink in, it was such a nice place to enjoy food and a catch up with my friend. Thank you so much to Brooklyn Sq for having me, I’m already planning my next visit!

Let me know if you check it out!
