TOP 6 TRENDS FOR SPRING 2017

I am sitting down to write this post at 7:01 pm and it’s pitch dark and raining outside. However, the days are slowly getting brighter and its starting to feel more and more like Spring. But what should you be wearing? I Visited Victoria Square in Belfast to get some ideas!

Here are the top trends I  noticed in stores so far this month

  1. CAMO

  2. PUNK

  3. STRIPES

  4. BACKPACKS

  5. EMBELLISHMENT

  6. RAINWEAR

All of the items feature at least one of these Trends, however quite a few items crossover!

CAMO– It’s clear to see that the camouflage trend is going nowhere this season as its EVERYWHERE here a few pieces that caught my eye, Pull & Bear Belfast had some really reasonable priced items.

PUNK

See those old jeans you were thinking of ripping? DO IT.  The PUNK trend of ripped denim and rock t-shirts is set to be huge again this season with even more vintage styles and bold cuts. I had to get myself to this outfit from TOPMAN

STRIPES

but not as you know it, this time around it’s all about bold and contrasting thickness stripes. Think less sailor more varsity

BACKPACKS

Can we all finally agree that backpacks ae cool? yes? Good because I have always loved them. Since they were heavily featured in the runways of brands like dolce and gabbana the high street has soon copied with some seriously cool styles

EMBELLISHMENT

This has been everywhere in woman’s fashion for the past few seasons but now it’s finally coming to menswear, Animals and slogan embellishment are everywhere and even better when it is on a Camo shirt!

 RAINWEAR

It may be spring but of course, we can still expect rain so the essential this season will be a raincoat, oversized and bold is key

So that’s my top Trends! I hope this helps and happy shopping!
