Morning guys! It really does feel like a Monday today doesn’t it? It’s gloomy, its dark and I’m in bed with a cold. Anyway, today I thought its about time I came back with another blog post to distract me from feeling sorry for myself.
If you’re following me on Instagram you will have seen last week I was walking past Zara and spotted an amazing backpack in the window, when I asked inside they told me they only had one in stock and couldn’t be taken off display till the new year!! Which would make you question why they even have it in the window?!? But I knew I had to have it so went straight back the next morning to beg for it and it worked! The Bag is mine!
ZARA is in a league of its own when it comes to quality for backpacks, they always have a premium feel and style, unlike many other high street stores. Every time I get a new backpack (which is way too often) I have a few key items I always keep inside, so here’s what Ive put In my new bag today.
1.) A LIP BALM,
I keep a lip balm in everything I own, every time I get a new bag I pop one in because its something I always need. This is the Burts Bees Peppermint one, I like Burts bees because it’s waxier than others so doesn’t go all shiny and oily when it’s on!
2.) HAND SANITIZER,
For obvious reasons, it’s really handy (no pun intended) to always have one when out and about, this was only 50p in Primark.
3.) A PORTABLE CHARGER,
My Phone battery it TERRIBLE and when I’m taking pictures at an event I need some way of preventing the dreaded 1%, I use this portable charger which was given to me and it just makes sure my phone lasts all day.
4.) CLEANING WIPES,
I’m a slight clean freak and I hate using computers in uni or having a dirty desk so I always keep a packet to clean my space or any spills on my clothes.
5.) EARPHONES
I’d be lost without a pair of earphones when on the bus or walking, these are just the standard iPhone ones.
A MINIATURE DEODERANT,
One of those ‘Rather be looking at it than looking for it‘ items, I got this in the boots travel section.
A MINIATURE MOUTHWASH
Again, could come in handy and only 50p in Primark.
A NOTEBOOK
I always make notes on my phone but end up forgetting about them, so I now carry around a small notebook where I jot down any deadlines, blog ideas or other important information I don’t want to forget!
HAND CREAM,
my hands get crazy dry especially when it’s colder out and there’s nothing as annoying! This is just a Primark non-scented hand cream that I always keep on me!
A WATER BOTTLE
Not only do I use this becase its marble but it also saves me a fortune not having to buy a bottle in uni everyday! I use a metal one as it stays colder for longer and duh MARBLE
